At Truckee-Tahoe Swim Team, we are seeking a Swim Instructor to lead our swimming programs and provide lessons customized for children of different ages and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to motivate young swimmers to develop a deep appreciation for the water. We are excited to welcome a dedicated and self-driven Swim Instructor to our team in Truckee, CA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial, as it demonstrates an understanding of working with children in a structured environment!
