As a Swim Instructor at Sun Oaks Aquatic Racing, you will lead swimming programs and offer tailored individual and group lessons to children of different age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who have a strong love for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to inspire young swimmers and foster a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Swim Instructor from to become part of our team and support our Sun Oaks Aquatic Racing in Redding, CA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skills levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning atmosphere for all students
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, offering feedback and guidance as necessary

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, particularly in an educational or instructional environment
• Strong swimming skills with knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and creative teaching abilities
• Effective behavior management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is a plus, showcasing an understanding of working with children in a structured setting
• A deep love and passion for swimming and children.
