As a Swim Instructor at DART Swimming, you will play a key role in leading swimming programs and providing both individual and group lessons tailored to children of varied age groups and skill levels. This position is perfect for students who possess a strong enthusiasm for swimming, exceptional communication skills, and the genuine ability to motivate young swimmers and cultivate in them a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Swim Instructor to become part of our team and support our DART Swimming located in Davis, CA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial, as it demonstrates an understanding of working with children in a structured environment!
