As a Swim Instructor at St Cloud YMCA Swim Team, you will lead swimming programs and provide customized individual and group lessons for children of different ages and skill levels. This role is perfect for students who have a strong passion for swimming, great communication skills, and the ability to motivate and inspire young swimmers to develop a love and respect for the water. We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team and contribute to our St Cloud YMCA Swim Team in Foley, MN.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all students
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities, preferably in an educational or instructional setting
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various swim strokes and techniques
• Strong background in water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified (infant, child & adult)
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and creative teaching skills
• Strong behavior management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
• Experience in childcare or sports coaching is beneficial, as it demonstrates an understanding of working with children in a structured environment!
• A love and passion for swimming and children!
