At Reading YMCA, we are seeking a passionate Swim Instructor to lead swimming programs and provide lessons to children of all ages and skill levels. If you are a student with a love for swimming and a desire to inspire young swimmers, we want you to join our team in Reading, PA.

Responsibilities
• Provide swim instruction tailored to various age groups and skill levels
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Monitor and assess student progress, offering feedback and guidance

Requirements
• Experience working with students of all ages and abilities
• Proficient in various swim strokes and techniques
• Knowledge of water safety and survival skills
• CPR & First Aid Certified
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage behavior and handle challenging situations calmly
• Previous experience in childcare or sports coaching preferred
• Passion for both swimming and working with children
