At Southeast YMCA Sharks, we are seeking a Swim Instructor who will lead swimming programs, offer lessons to children of different ages and skill levels, and inspire young swimmers to develop a love for the water. This position is perfect for students who are passionate about swimming and have excellent communication skills. Our team in Pittsford, NY is in need of a dedicated Swim Instructor who can motivate and educate our students.

Responsibilities
Provide swim instruction for all ages and skill levels
Create a safe and positive learning environment
Assess student progress and offer feedback

Requirements
Experience working with students in educational or instructional settings
Proficiency in various swimming strokes and techniques
Knowledge of water safety and survival skills
CPR & First Aid Certification (infant, child & adult)
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
Effective behavior management abilities
Experience in childcare or sports coaching
Passion for swimming and working with children
