Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Group Sales Manager to join our award-winning sales team on-site. The Group Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by effectively managing group rooms and banquet sales activities and fostering strong relationships with clients. This position requires a proactive self-starter individual with excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for group bookings, including corporate events, association and government conferences, and other types of meetings with guestrooms and meeting space.
Identify and prospect new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calls, networking events, industry associations, digital research and referrals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, and industry partners to maximize sales opportunities and enhance the hotel's reputation.
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials, sales collateral, and targeted campaigns to drive awareness and attract group bookings.
Conduct site tours, presentations, and negotiations with prospective clients to showcase the hotel's facilities and services and secure bookings.
Coordinate with other hotel departments, including catering, banquet, and rooms divisions, to ensure seamless execution of events and exceptional guest experiences.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Prepare regular reports, forecasts, and budgets to track sales performance and provide insights to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven track record of success in group sales within the hospitality industry.
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and customer relationship management.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate the hotel's value proposition persuasively.
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Preferred knowledge of Delphi software or comparable sales software.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
