Personal Statement

I am a professional singer/songwriter trained by the Katie Gornick Vocal Studio, Boston Conservatory at Berklee, and Elon University. I have trained students in voice ages 11-18 for performances and auditions. I specialize in pop, rock, and musical theatre techniques. My students consistently book roles and give stellar performances. I teach not only technique but also song performance to ensure that the physical performance you give matches the incredible technical work you are vocalizing. I believe that great teachers make great singers and owe all of my success to the four incredible teachers who made my voice what it is. My teaching style is warm and kind but structured and focused. I want to create a comfortable and safe environment where my students can do their best work.
