Personal Statement

I hold a PhD in Philological and Literary, Historical and Cultural Studies from the University of Cagliari (Italy). I am passionate about approaching language studies from a cultural perspective to connect it with the socio-political fabric of the region it belongs to in order to create a holistic understanding of the culture and the language. I grew up speaking English, Hindi, and Gujarati (now speaking Italian and Spanish as well) and consider myself to have benefitted from knowing so many different worlds.
