Personal Statement

I have a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Humboldt State University and a graduate degree in Physics from Washington State University. It is pretty obvious that I have a passion for physics, but I do understand not everyone loves physics and that many students find it to be a challenging subject. I have taught physics in the classroom and I have tutored students individually in both physics and mathematics. I spend time with my students assessing them to find the challenges that are holding them back from reaching their potential, whether it is a learning style issue or feeling left behind in a class that is moving too quickly for them to master the concepts being taught.
