As a lifeguard, you must possess the following skills:
• Comfortable in and around open water with basic knowledge of safety considerations
• Ability to navigate deep water and use watercraft like surfboards, paddleboards, or kayaks
• Pass lifeguard prerequisite exam, including a 550-meter open water swim and treading water for 2 minutes without hands
• Preferred experience working with or teaching children
• Red Cross or WSI certification is preferred but not required
• Must be 18+
