Do the extra credit on the homeworks. You can get loads of help by going to the labs. Go to ones that you didn't even sign up for. The extra credit will pretty much guarantee you an A even if you get C avg on midterms. First midterm was easy, 2nd was more difficult. Go over the sample questions he provides and it'll help you a lot. The book is pretty much useless. I've barely opened it. Make friends in the class. Everyone is super friendly. Don't be intimidated by TAs or prof. They are all super nice as well. The class is intense, especially if it's your first exposure to programming, so stay on top of things! Good luck! |
