Personal Statement

I am a forever-learner myself, and someone who understands the value of individualized education. Formally, I have ample experience tutoring high school, college, and doctorate level students, all of whom have progressed to a point where they no longer require my services, which is ultimately the goal! Informally, I have always been the kind of person a friend would come to for help with a difficult subject. I pride myself in being able to explain things in ways that resonate with people, and when something doesn’t click, I can switch up my explanation and try again another way! I believe learning is not just something to be done by the student, but also an ongoing self-evaluation by the educator to ensure the information is being taught most efficiently.
