I am currently the bass trombonist of the Toledo Symphony Orchestra. I have a Bachelor of Music Performance (Bass Trombone) from Appalachian State University. I also hold a Master of Music Performance (Bass Trombone) degree, which I earned from the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Mr. Randall Hawes, formerly of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. I was also a member of the Orchestral Career Fellowship program at CIM. I have been a fellow at Aspen Music Festival ('21 +'22), National Orchestral Institute ('23), and Music Academy of the West ('24). I have years of experience teaching private lessons to students of all ages, from beginners to advanced college level students. I was the trombone faculty member at the Appalachian State University Community Music School, and I am currently the trombone / low brass instructor at the Cleveland School of the Arts.
