I had my first lesson with William two weeks out from my MCAT exam day. I was worried as I struggle with the chemistry and physics portion of the exam, but William has not only been able to save me time but also gives me tips and resources to approach certain problems and to fill in any content gaps I have. William is able to instantly answer any of my questions while pulling up the perfect example to go along with the explanation. I'm so glad William is my tutor and have been much less stressed during the last stretch leading up to the exam.

William was a tremendous help for my thermodynamics course. He is clearly very knowledgeable, and he explained everything in a way that really made topics I was previously confused on click for me. I really liked how after his explanations he would often have me explain the concepts back to him or work a question on my own, which often revealed some problem areas that otherwise I would not have realized I was confused on.

My daughter is a college freshman and has been using William for support in her biology classes. She initially tried going to office hours and meeting with the TA, but I think it's been beneficial for her to work with someone 1:1. From what she tells me he reviews what she is learning and assigns extra problems that really help her with understanding the concepts. She only ever has positive things to say about the knowledge and understanding he provides.

I only had a week or two of studying left before my MCAT when I asked William for help. I worked with William for about six weeks before taking the MCAT. Before, I had only done Kaplan practice and realized it was not enough. William came up with a very structured study schedule each week after reviewing my practice tests. He knows a great deal about what material is covered on the MCAT and is very helpful when teaching it. He also has a great deal of other resources to give to better help explain subjects. I?ve had the pleasure of working with William this summer in preparation for the MCAT. Ultimately, mostly due to my own mistakes, I decided to postpone taking the MCAT. William really knows the MCAT and is great at putting together an individualized schedule for you. He is able to recommend different study sources based on your preferred method of learning. He is also good at explaining concepts. However, we had several miscommunications during our time together. For instance, toward the end of our time, I was under the impression that I had finished most content review but he thought I knew more chemistry and biology than I actually did. This lead to a bad shock on my part as I realized that I was not going to be prepared for the MCAT in time. Additionally, perhaps because he got more busy in August, his responses to my emails were sporadic. In conclusion, William is a great tutor but ultimately you need to hold yourself accountable first.

I worked with William for 4 months while I was studying for the MCAT. I had started studying with the Kaplan 7-book set but found that I wasn?t making much progress, so I reached out to him. William was quickly able to pinpoint my strengths and weaknesses and developed a study plan that was tailored to my individual needs. William clearly cares a lot about his students? progress, and he would frequently check in and made adjustments to my study schedule as needed. William is incredibly knowledgeable (It seems like he knows everything!) as well as an excellent teacher. He is able to think about concepts in many different ways and adjusts his explanations to fit your learning style. After working with him, I saw huge improvements in both my understanding of material and in my test scores. In addition to being an excellent teacher, William is really enjoyable to work with. Studying for the MCAT can be a rough process, but he made it feel more manageable, and I really looked forward to my sessions with him! I am so grateful to have found him, and I would highly recommend him to anyone studying for the MCAT or just looking for a great tutor!
