Hi, my name is Tammy J. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling. I am a native ASL signer. I taught ASL for more than 20 years to a variety of different individuals and in a variety of different settings (i.e., churches, schools, colleges, hospitals, and the like). Tammy reviewed vocabulary with my daughter for an upcoming test. She taught my daughter the origination and meanings behind the signs which goes beyond memorization and really helps students understand signs for better recall. She was very patient with my daughter who has ADHD and is autistic. She made learning fun.
