Personal Statement

I have 13 years of experience as a classroom teacher in teaching middle and high school students in English skills such as reading, grammar, writing, etc. Since being out of the classroom, I have tutored elementary, middle, high school, and college students in English grammar and writing and critiqued essays and theses for graduate students. I am currently tutoring middle and high school students in English writing, grammar, ACT English. During my time as a private tutor, I have worked with over 50 or more students and have witnessed major improvements in their area of need.
