Sebastian was such a great tutor. After failing the series 7 exam twice, he was able to help me pass on the third try. He taught me how to think like an examiner and taught me how to break down each and every question to see what actually makes sense versus what sounds made up. One of my biggest issues was being so stressed and anxious, and Sebastian definitely helped me gain so much confidence in myself. Before I found Sebastian, I had already failed the Series 7 my first try. I had prepared for it with a different tutor who thought I was ready and was going to pass and instead I failed, was devastated, and I never heard from that tutor again. Sebastian was amazing! Very personable, funny, and just all-around fun to engage with! He broke down concepts and never made me feel like I couldn't understand the topics we reviewed! I spent my time with Sebastian with him tutoring me on stock options, primarily different calculations related to straddles, spreads and leverage against a stock position. If you are studying with STC (which I am) his approach focuses on the graphical/visual approach and collaborative whiteboarding as opposed to the T chart Debit/Credit columns. The book touches on this approach a little bit but not a lot. He was very hands on, enthusiastic and made the lesson time fun. I'm planning to have additional sessions with Sebastian to build on what I've learned so far.

Sebastian has helped to me pass both my SIE and recently my Series 7. The Series 7 exam was much more difficult than the SIE and it took me a couple attempts to pass the SIE. Even though I had been studying on my own for several months using a test course I was still unsure if I was actually ready or not. Sebastian is not just a great tutor, but an awesome person who made every session (4) interesting. He was fantastic in options. I consider myself a pretty strong options student, but Sebastian really helped me tighten the screws to make sure I got every question right when it counted.
