Sam has been really helpful in preparing for exams in Game Theory and Economics. Complex classes that require a lot of knowledge to teach effectively. Thanks!

I am taking an upper level econ class and Dr Sam not only explained the problems in an understandable way but has also sparked my enthusiasm and confidence! I cannot wait to start the next section. I highly recommend him.
- Elizabeth G. from New York, NY
Worked through questions and mathematics for upcoming final exams in labor economics and public finance, including social choice theory, interpreting regression results and models of TANF, EITC and school voucher systems. Felt so much better prepared and more confident for my finals. Comprehensive knowledge base and highly effective tutoring style!
- Hope N. from Westlake Village, CA
Sam helped my son, a BBA candidate, with macroeconomic problems relating to monetary policy, bank balance sheets, the money multiplier, and the quantity theory of money. They have already scheduled their next session for Sam to prepare him for his midterm.
- Halley B. from Great Neck, NY
Sam is helping me with highly technical work. He is not only patient, but he wants to make sure that you can achieve your best results. Sam is a very engaged teacher. He is extremely knowledgeable and can impart his expertise so easily, that it is a pleasure and a very fun activity to interact with Sam. I have learned from Sam so much in only a few sessions! I'm hoping to be able to learn much more by taking his classes again.
- Mili M. from San Francisco, CA
Did a run through of a ton of macroeconomic topics the day before my final. Quickly and simply explained topics I had previously struggled with. So helpful! 10/10 would recommend

I would 100% recommend Sam in Econometrics to anyone! He has deep knowledge of the material and can help explain complex concepts and problems. He is also very decent and helpful whenever you need him.
- Ahmed H. from Plattsburgh, NY
Sam was very concerned about making sure the student ( my son) understood the material, and if not, unraveling the "why" behind that. Confident that my son is back on track.
- Joan D. from Batavia, IL
Sam explains the concepts the really well. He has helped my son with Advanced micro economics and International Economics. He breaks down the concepts well.
- Aparna R. from Cary, NC
My son found himself in an advanced Game Theory course in his first year at college. Several other tutors were no help. Sam was the saving grace. His knowledge is extensive and his skill for teaching is amazing. He was kind, patient, available, and supremely professional. He was able to translate very complex theoretical concepts and identify the ?whys?. He added maximum value and efficiency to my son?s extremely busy schedule. It is with the highest regard that we recommend his services.
- Bonny S. from Colfax, CA
I have been a student of Sam for a few months, and I think we work great together! He is super understanding and great at what he does. He doesn't waste time trying to figure out problems which I really appreciate and he explains everything very thoroughly and is easy for us to understand! It always feels like he comes to class very prepared he just goes through those problems with me again to make sure I understand. It has been great working with him, and I will continue to work with him if he has the time! I feel so lucky to find the right tutor for me so soon! He is definitely the best at this!
- Lauren C. from Berkeley, CA

I had Sam tutor me for a difficult forecasting problem. Sam took time to listen to the problem and talk through various solutions. Great method of breaking down/digesting the problem
- Jake W. from Rancho Santa Fe, CA
It was such a great lesson. All my questions gor answered and I feel a lot better about the upcoming AP Exam. Macroeconomics is not as hard as I thought for the last weeks. Sam helped me understand and gave great advice and especially how to attempt the questions was shown to me.
- Axinia C. from Lake Worth, FL
Sam was a fantastic tutor. He was very knowledgeable and helped me work through the problem myself. He was patient and explained very clearly when I was off track and why. He answered all of my questions in a confident, low stress manner. I highly recommend Sam.

- Steve M. from Darien, CT
Sam is by far one of the most helpful, informative, and accomodating tutors I have ever come across. He has helped me with high-level undergraduate Macro/Microeconomics in a way that no tutor before him has come close to doing. I rarely ever write reviews, but in return for all of the help that I've received, it is absolutely the very least I could do. I highly, highly recommend him to students who strive to do better and could use the extra help.
- Ryan Y. from Atlanta, GA
Sam and I went over a difficult problem set for Economic Growth, a 400 level economics university course. He was very helpful in his explanations and kind in his demeanor. I would really recommend him especially if you have advanced level classes I am very grateful to have found him.
- Dana A. from New York, NY
Sam assisted my son in an excruciatingly difficult, quantitative microeconomics course. Several other students were dropping the course or flunking. My son would end his sessions with Sam, energized about the progress made and eventually went on to achieve his best scores. Sam is a great teacher of difficult concepts, was patient, flexible and positive. It?s the best money I ever spent on college thus far!
- Christopher V. from Oakland, CA
I worked on an econometrics practice set with him. Sam had a complete understanding of everything I needed to learn and explained it in an easily understandable way.
