Reviews

Sam has been working on creative writing with my 8th grader (daughter) for over 8 months. She loves their sessions and has learned a ton! He's patient and knowledgeable. He's a great teacher. My daughter has learned various techniques and ideas to enhance her writing and is starting a few bigger writing projects. Even though it's an extra hour (per week) out of her busy week, she looks forward to the sessions and is eager to continue improving and writing.

Sam is very engaging and relatable, I never feel bored when in sessions with him, and always makes sure I know the content before moving on, no matter how long I take!

I?ve had a couple lessons with Sam and he?s really such a great tutor. In just a small amount of time I?ve already learned so much from him and he?s really good at explaining the material in different ways if you don?t understand. He?s also so nice and really cares about his students. Really recommend!!!

Sam is an engaging and flexible teacher. He explains new concepts very clearly, checks to make sure understanding is really locked in before moving on, and makes learning fun. He adapts really well to the needs of different ages, diagnoses learning styles accurately, and is thoughtful about what materials and approach would best serve the learning goals. My daughter loves him!

Further explained grammar issues and other questions and tricks specific to the SAT. Overall, I learned a sizable amount about the writing portion on the SAT, and feel more confident in approaching the test.
