I came to Sahid because I was working on personal video project. I wanted to apply some color grading which was something I was inexperienced with. During the hour we had together, he explained to me how to use lumetri color and scopes and how each feature affects the color of the video. By the end our session I felt more comfortable using the different features inside of lumetri and my project looked much better than when I started.

Sahid is an excellent teacher!! I can't overstate how much he helped me today, I will 100% be booking another lesson with him. He was extremely knowledgable about After Effects and VFX concepts in general, which for a newbie like me, put my mind at ease. I work in the film industry and was having a hard time finding people to walk me through the basics of VFX specifically in After Effects. I decided to pay for some professional help and I'm so glad that I did, not only do I feel confident moving forward with what I learned today, but I now have a tutor I feel comfortable asking questions in the future. My request was to learn how to use After Effects in conjunction with Envato Elements. Honestly, I didn't realize how advanced AE was until I realized that I was having a real hard time finding YouTube videos using the two platforms. I happen to find this site and looked through the reviews, and chose Sahid. I'm SOOOOO glad I did. He goes into great detail which at first, was overwhelming for me, but then we started to put the pieces together and I was able to understand it and got a sense of flow. My homework is to continue to playing with AE so I can continue to get faster and better at it. He is a wiz at it and uses Envato frequently. He knows all the shortcuts (and short comings of the app). We spent about two hours on this and I recorded it so I can use it as reference, but I'm still going to book him again. I have to fix my logo and do some other things. Maybe take up Adobe Premier next? Who knows.! Thanks Sahid!!!

I am into the dissertation data collection and analysis stage of my doctoral work, and hit a roadblock with a requirement that I utilize broadcast quality studio interviews of subjects, and produce a work product suitable for a documentary/tutorial for graduate students. Although many years ago I was in the news and TV industry, it predated all of the super high tech editing and storage and retrieval programs. I also needed excerpts of video recordings for Focus Groups. Perhaps more than a year ago, Sahid slowly helped me out with some audio/visual presentation issues for a research class, and now, in the past few sessions he has been patient, calm, informative, and providing positive reinforcement for my work. Being in the Pacific Time Zone, while I am in Florida, has been a plus since my own work schedule usually makes late night work and study mandatory. Sahid has been available nights and weekends, recommended student discount subscriptions on state-of-the-art cloud editing programs, and allowed me to work at my own pace and then return for updates and the next step in my learning curve. As an older student, his generous time and patience with computer-challenged learners is so deeply appreciated. I had a very urgent project that needed to get completed by using After Effects, a tool I have VERY little skill or confidence in. Within 4 hours, we not only completed the project together, and made it look AMAZING, but I also learned more in that time frame than I have in taking weeks worth of other classes. He was super patient, incredibly knowledgable, and helped me beyond measure!! It made a huge difference in my understanding of After Effects and it was only our first lesson. I am looking forward to our next lesson and continuing to learn more from him in After Effects and Premiere. I can't recommend him enough if you're looking to master photoshop or video/motion/animation!

I found Wyzant from a google search. I'm was looking for an instructor who knew After Effects well and was willing to work with a try beginner who had a very specific need and request. So I selected Sahid M. from a list of instructors and I decided to give him a shot. Here was is my honest review of my experience throughout the 2 hour session I booked. 1) Sahid made sure to sent me a friendly reminder of our session. 2) Sahid was on time and ready to go. 3) He took the time to listen to me, as it was a very unique request from someone who is brand new to the software. 4) We were able to screen share and record the session, so I'm now able to play it back, which is awesome. You'll need to use a recording software to recapture it the following day when it's ready to be viewed. The recording is available for only a month. But honestly this is a minor extra step to take until Wyzant figures out a better method. I was not aware of this, but Sahid brought it up, which was awesome. He knows his stuff! 5) Sahid's knowledge of Adobe software is impressive to say the least. After learning more about his background, which is very impressive, I knew that I was in great hands. 6) Sahid took the time needed and I never once felt rushed. In fact, it was the opposite. Sahid helped keep me calm in those moments of frustration that can come when just starting out on an intimidating software like After Effects. 7) You can tell that Sahid leads a team of high-end editors in his regular job. He understands the art of teaching and makes it fun. I also had some computer challenges, which he also was able to help me work out! Bottom Line: It was a blessing to come across Sahid. The session was well worth the price. I learned far more from him in those 2 hours, than I did in an 5 hours online course! I plan on working with Sahid more and so should you! 5 STARS!!!!

I had a dilemma for over a week where I couldn't render my After Effects project.
