When I combined my passion for people with my eye for design and details, I landed on this dream job of being a professional hairdresser. At the time, I hoped my intelligence or good fortune would help me fast-track my way to fluency and efficiency, but of course only hard work, practice, and stepping out of my comfort zone has lit my path forward.
