Richard is a very amazing tutor he?s able to explain difficult concepts in a way that even a 5 year old with no prior knowledge could understand. He goes out of his way to make sure you have a very high understanding of what is going on in problems and topics. By far the best tutor I?ve ever had for any programming/engineering class. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Richard was a great tutor! He had a lot of patience when I had questions, or I needed clarification on the material that I needed help with. He has was very concise with the information he gathered before my meeting after I sent him what I needed help with. Richard helped me understand material (Verilog) that I could not understand in my course at my university. Great tutor! This semester was my first jump into the world of hardware, so naturally I needed a little extra help with binary logic, combinatorial and sequential circuit design, memory structures, instruction set architectures, and basic processor design. Courses in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering (CSEE) typically cover material that spans both the hardware and software space, which makes it difficult to find capable tutors with enough knowledge or versatility to be reliable in both domains. This was not the case with Richard; he not only has a masterful grasp of the material, but he's also extremely organized and prepared, and he steps through problems slowly while stopping along the way to make sure you're tracking his instructions. We covered topics such as flip flops, pipelines, hazards, cycle forwarding, speedups, single cycle datapaths, and circuit design. Without his help, I would have been completely lost - my only regret is not finding him earlier in the semester. I highly recommend!

Beyond his great intuition for circuit analysis, Richard is an an excellent teacher who will explain in thorough detail the minor and the major details of each problem and topics discussed, while answering any and all general or specific questions asked. If you have any specific circuit theory and analysis or matlab questions, he is the best.
