Personal Statement

I have a bachelor's degree in marine sciences from the University of South Carolina-Columbia and a master's degree in the same field from Stony Brook University. My professional experience includes working as a teacher's assistant in labs and mentoring undergraduate students. I would love to tutor in zoology, microbiology, ecology, and environmental science. I enjoy tutoring in ecology the most because it is something I use daily. As a teacher, I find ways to teach the information to every student, because each person learns in a different way.
