My son is currently in high school and has been playing the trumpet since he was in 6th grade. We have since been searching for a Jazz trumpet instructor; and thankfully, we found Pasha K. on Wyzant online. Pasha has the experience and qualifications of an excellent Jazz trumpet teacher. He is quick to respond, works a flexible schedule, and charges a reasonable rate. He effectively evaluated my son's playing level and provided teaching methods that are clear and concise. For starters, they went over the fundamentals and vocabulary of Jazz and covered endurance, flexibility, articulation, jazz rhythm, and swing.
