Personal Statement

As a Leadership/Success Coach and educational consultant, I help students (remedial to A/P) develop skills in three key areas - personal development, academics, and executive function (study skills). I identify elements which impede learning, then help them change negative patterns (i.e. inactivity, lack of preparation, avoidance, poor time management). I partner with parents to help students become self-motivated, self-disciplined, and accountable. Students learn by doing (we all know teen...

Great resource for improving essay, writing skills in students especially in high school years and for SAT preparation in high school

Pamela has clearly worked with students with Executive Function weaknesses like my son before and knows exactly what he needs, and what we need to do to help him get there. Her no-nonsense approach is both welcome and refreshing.

Pamela has been great working with our 16 Y.O. daughter who really needs help with organization, prioritization and similar executive functioning skills. There is a good connection and she is very perceptive and insightful and we are already seeing positive changes after just two sessions as a ?coach? offering several practical tips. We look forward to seeing more gains With future sessions. Thanks Ms Pam!

Pamela was absolutely amazing. She really helped me figure out how to answer the prompt correctly in my college essay. She asked the questions that really got me to think of what I should say that would stand out to college admissions counselours. She was very patient with me and provided me with plenty of resources to help me write an ideal essay. I am definitely going to use her again in the near future!

Ms. Pamela is a highly perceptive tutor who understands the child's learning needs. She goes to great lengths to address the skill gaps and encourages the child to explore new frontiers of learning. She fine tunes her teaching to keep take care of our special requests. My child is very happy to learn with her. All in all, Ms. Pamela is a very impressive and results-orientated tutor.

After the first lesson my 16 year old son was angaged, motivated and willing to have a second session, that is a positive start! Will be scheduling another session with Pamela.

I was impressed with Pamela approach to teaching and I am confident she be a great influence on Hadi in coming months. She went straight to trying to understand where Hadi stands in terms of his writing ability and how much he knows about the art of writing effectively.

Ms Pamela is a great tutor, She has good knowledge about students and she knows how to handle kids, Our son started his writing lessons in 2016 that was entering into 4th grade in Walnut Grove, Southlake. He was week in Writing and language arts, after a year of classes great improvement in his writing skills, He got good reviews from his school teachers and also got good scores in his recent STAR test. I strongly recommend her, she is not just a subject teacher she teaches great values to the students.

Having Pam as a tutor over the my spring semester benefitted me so much. Never have i met with a tutor who is ready to put her personal time just for her students and she is a tutor who really wants to see her students succeed whether its in college or high school. punctuality as a tutor is great she is mostly on time the only times that she has been late which is by a minute or two and thats due to traffic. her communication and expertise is fantastic she always finds alternatives when she is explaining a concept so that the student can get a clear picture. i would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a tutor to teach their kids it would definitely be Pam. i look forward to working more with her as the time comes by.

Pamela worked with my high school son to take ownership of his own learning. She will continue to help him with writing and reading comprehension.
- Minnie G. from Colleyville, TX
We were looking for a tutor that would be flexible in tutoring times and Pam was not only able to meet at varying times throughout the week, but her tutoring style was in line with what we were looking for, which was more like how students think and learn instead of how a normal tutor or teacher teaches. I would highly recommend her for early learners all the way up to a higher education learner. I know I could reach her at anytime of the day as her response time was almost immediate. Our 12 year old daughter has only been to 3 sessions and her grades are already starting to show progress as the teacher, without knowing of her tutoring, asked what has changed. I give Pam 5 stars and wish I would have had her when I was in school.

- Tina T. from Southlake, TX
Pam has been a wonderful motivator for my daughter. My daughter had a tough last semester with failing all her classes. We hired Pam and she has motived our daughter to keep focused on her classes and starting over with straight A's the first three weeks. Pam has a plan to keep her on target with all her classwork.
- Shannon T. from Plano, TX
Pamela is a wonderful tutor. She has been tutoring both our 16 year old daughters. She not only helps them with their assignments, but teaches them study skills and tips to help them develop good study habits. Pam is very dedicated to her work and takes it very seriously. The girls were reluctant to go to a tutor, but after they met and worked with Pam, they look forward to her tutoring sessions. Pam has a very upbeat personality and seems to have a natural ability to capture the attention of teenagers and help motivate them. Thank you Pam!

Pamela has been tutoring our middle school son for over a year in math and has helped him greatly. She has also helped him in other subjects when needed. She is very patient and very encouraging and has helped to build our son's confidence especially in math. I highly recommend Pamela if you are looking for a tutor who challenges your child and wants to help them succeed.
- Dana H. from Roanoke, TX
Pam has been tutoring my son for the last year. He can be a handful and she has been very patient & kind. She is very prepared for each session and develops a lesson plan according to what we determine are his needs and grade level. She has been very good at giving him positive reinforcement and encourages him to succeed. His grades have improved but best of all, he is understanding the material rather than just memorizing. I would definitely recommend Pamela as a tutor. We got lucky finding her!!
- Kim B. from Bedford, TX
Pam is very knowledgeable and professional tutor. Very accommodating, helpful and kind as well. We only had a few sessions and had already noticed progress on subject our daughter was struggling with. Will absolutely recommend to others.
