I've been working with Michael for several months on SAT studies and some classwork. He is really helpful, he communicates really well and I always look forward to working with him.

Mike has been an outstanding coach to my son. Although coaching was initially my idea, now my son looks forward to his sessions. Mike has brought great value to my son's education and has helped him become more proactive and excited about learning and planning. My son has gained skills in note taking, studying and feels confident about preparing and taking exams.

Michael is responsive, reliable and kind. I definitely recommends for students who are looking for help with their college application or with SAT/ACT! I believe that ultimately he would help my daughter gain admission into her dream college. I am very thankful for his guidance through this process! ??????????

I am so thankful to have found Michael R., who has been tutoring me in physics. I thought physics was difficult at first, but Michael has been greatly helping me in not only learning and mastering the material, but also with enjoying the process. I think that it is important for a teacher to not only be very knowledge about the subject they are teaching, but also be able to engage the student in the learning process. This is exactly what Michael does. He is very open to trying new learning methods that fit his students. For example, I asked to change the lesson format a few times, and he was very supportive of finding the perfect teaching style that fits me. He can explain material in a way that is easy to comprehend based on how the student learns. During the lesson, he draws detailed pictures and shows images of diagrams so that the student can truly grasp the subject and apply what they learned. Michael is also very considerate about how his students feel, because he will acknowledge feedback and actually make changes. He is very well-educated in his subject, and creatively finds solutions to math and physics problems. I could not have found another tutor who is as helpful, inspiring, caring, and educated as Michael. I definitely recommend everyone to take lessons with him.

Mike has been helping me with my applications for masters in architecture and I feel so lucky to have found him. Mike is very knowledgable about all aspects of architecture including the general application process, portfolio development, layouts, creating concepts, and model making. He has helped me strategize and been so patient and encouraging during this stressful process. Mike is one of the kindest people I've ever met and is always positive and encouraging. I could not recommend him more! I would go as far as to say he has changed my relationship with architecture -- most people I've met in the architecture academia are difficult and a bit patronizing, Mike, however, is open-minded, excited and extremely warm. He is the perfect tutor!

We are so lucky to have picked Mike to work with my daughter, a junior in high school. Mike is not just a tutor; he is an academic coach well verse across many subjects providing content knowledge and skills while empowering students with techniques and different ways of thinking to problem solve. Mike has been working with my daughter on SAT prep and putting together a robust architecture college application so that she is ready for early actions this fall. She has learned so much from meeting with him weekly, and some advice has been priceless. We highly recommend Mike for essay writing, editing, math, architecture portfolio, exam-taking skills and tips, and college applications. Any subject you need Mike will be your student's superstar tutor.

Michael is highly effective with my son ( in G&T) who is particular about whom he works with. It?s an online session, but Michael uses his maximum energy and tool to keep my son engaged and learning math and writing effectively. He is not only a talented teacher, but also has a nice personality. My son likes meeting with him like when he meets a smart older cousin.

He is working very hard in teaching my son Singapore Math. He is patient, he is friendly and he has a way to keep my child engaged and not get bored even if they studies more than an hour in which case they did once.

Michael was very knowledgeable and kind when providing precalculus tutoring to my daughter on short notice. She said he explained things in a very clear way that was easy to understand, and she'd he happy to work with him again when she needs extra help.
