Personal Statement

I graduated from Arizona State University with my Bachelor of Science in neurobiology, behavior, and physiology. As an undergraduate, I worked with my peers to improve their understanding of zoology and organic chemistry. I participated in lab research and studies with the attending vet at ASU. I can work with students to prepare them for the workload of college, review early science and biology topics, and teach them valuable study strategies that can improve their independent learning. I base my tutoring style around my students personal learning preferences and goals. I can teach a variety of learning styles, skill levels, and backgrounds.
