Personal Statement

I grew up in Taiwan, where I initially began tutoring younger children in English and math subjects. I am currently enrolled at the University of California in Los Angeles to pursue my degrees in linguistics, computer science, and Japanese. I enjoy helping my students improve their writing skills, master coding in C++, get to know the violin, and learn a variety of other subjects. Working with students in a one-on-one setting gives them the chance to improve their weaknesses, build upon their strengths, and gain the academic skills they need to succeed in their educational goals.
