Personal Statement

I recently graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of California at San Diego. Being a tutor in high school was one of the most rewarding and memorable experiences I have ever had. One particular student of mine stands out when I am asked about my previous students. They came to me wholly unmotivated and lacked enthusiasm. I used real-world connections and engaging teaching methods, and they left our sessions motivated and excited about the material. My method of tutoring includes making sure that my students understand how to solve the problems and concepts well. I make sure to make the tutoring process as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
