Jason is well versed in Visual Studio Code and has proved to be a patient and supportive tutor. He knows how to help students taking AP Computer Science Principles with their artifact. I would recommend Jason.

Jason was phenomenal in helping me troubleshoot a complicated assignment. He was understanding of my limited knowledge of the python program and guided me on the ins and outs of what the assignment question was really asking for. Not only that, he was very kind and patient, which means the world to me. It's hard for me to understand concepts very quickly, so his no-rush approach was very welcoming. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to ask for help but Jason was there to guide me. I was at my wit's end in trying to complete the assignment and I was very close to dropping the class. Not only did I not have to drop the class but the best part is that I managed to pass with an A!! If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable about programming concepts and is compassionate about teaching, you can't go wrong with having Jason as your tutor. I'm a mediocre Developer with 25 years of experience and in need of a skills upgrade. In the course of three lessons Jason has made sense of technologies I had only grasped onto bits of and couldn't stay awake through another training video for. Using a useful example (a personal website for my portfolio) he is bringing the technology landscape all together for me and it's fun, even when debugging. Jason is very patient, often answering the same question multiple times, takes his time and is clear (he would be good with children and non native English speakers). The lessons are not low cost but well worth it, particularly considering what tech "training" (usually cert crams) costs and what little you get out of them. Consider him if like me your skills are dated.

Jason didn't just solve my problem, but rather helped me to understand how to solve it which is very valuable. Great experience and will certainly be using his services again.

Our daughter is new to programming and is taking an aggressive AP Java programming class. I met with Jason to make an initial introduction and to articulate our objectives. Jason was very accomodating and tailored a learning plan that met our daughter's goals. She had an excellent first session, and we plan to continue working with Jason moving forward.
