Personal Statement

I earned my bachelor's degree in literary arts and visual arts from Brown University where I took numerous courses in ancient Indian classics and contemporary American fiction. I began teaching when I was in college, teaching multiple literature classes through the community center. Literature and arts are my passion, but I am adept at tutoring in SAT math, AP English, literature and composition, and many more subjects. Right now I am working as a head teacher in an after-school program. I enjoy getting to know the interests of my students and what they expect from me.
