I have tutored over 1,000 students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). I worked in the BYU Math Lab to pay my way through college where I earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a minor in mathematics. I have even published a book and software package used by several universities in numerical analysis and the C programming language.I tutor all levels of undergraduate college mathematics. Mr. Toomey was by far the most down to Earth tutor that I have had the opportunity to work with. Not only is he very easy to communicate with, but I scheduled a few sessions with other Physics tutors, but he was by far the best and most helpful. Harold is a patient, fun, and great tutor! He helped me shoot my C grade to an A in College Calculus 2!? We covered topics such as L?Hopital, integration, differential equations, convergence tests, Taylor/Maclaurin series, and more. Dr.Harold is a Java wizard, fast and competent and great at verbalizing his thought process so you can learn how he achieved a certain answer specially in cryptography and java, I was having a problem in cipher implementation and he was so helpful. I have enjoyed working with him and I will definitely be asking for his assistance again. Highly recommended for java and cryptography.

Harold gave me a crash course on boolean algebra. Everything was laid out very clearly and efficiently. We did progressively more difficult problems until I felt like I had a solid foundation for this. Everything that needed visualization was easily done using the whiteboard, and I have great notes for further use should I need them. If you need a tutor for boolean algebra, I highly recommend booking a session with Harold. It saved me days of study.
