Personal Statement

Hello! I'm Esther, and my mission is to help classical musicians discover and develop their unique potential. My passion for teaching began when I was in my teens, helping classmates with music theory or coaching chamber music groups. I enjoy making advanced concepts simple, exciting, and easy to put into practice for my students. As an active professional cellist performing in orchestras, chamber groups, and solo, I am constantly solving real-life problems such as how to most efficiently practice in a busy schedule, what techniques ACTUALLY work in a concert setting (not just in theory), and this constantly informs my teaching.
