Eric has tutored me on several occasions for a variety of different linguistic subjects. There?s not one thing that he hasn?t been able to tackle with me. After each session, not only did I walk away feeling way more confident with the content I brought to class, but as a result of our sessions I scored very highly in my exams and papers. I do attribute my results in part to his excellent teaching. A quality of Eric that I find to be most helpful is that he has the ability to put himself in my shoes as a student and recognize what is it that I am needing, bring to light what I could focus on to better my work, and assist me in finding the right path to take that works me for as student to achieve my goals. I really highly recommend him as a tutor for fellow linguistics students and otherwise.

I had some particularly tricky assignments in n the finer points of minimalist syntax theory that I was struggling with. Eric was able to break down the problems step by step and work through them in a way that made them much easier to wrap my head around. He was also already familiar with the relevant literature, and broadly knowledgeable in the topics addressed. Also, he seems like a really nice guy. 10/10, will be coming to him with any other linguistics quandaries I have in the future. Money well spent.

Eric explains all the material in an easily accessible way and is knowledgeable about linguistics. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is currently struggling with grasping important linguistic concepts.

He went over the material that I was struggling with and help me understand the basics before getting into the complicated material. He helped me learn the material that I struggle with for weeks. Fantastic session that broke down complex issues into easy to understand bits. Also good direction to supplementary sources, online and in paper, that were easy to use.

Eric was amazing! he explains everything in detail and very well! he is very enthusiastic, and makes the subject actually interesting! He helped me with syntax and morphology which is not easy, but I truly did understand it a lot more after the lesson with him. He was also very accommodating to my schedule and found a time that worked best for me! if you need help with anything linguistics related make sure you reach out to him. also let?s not forget to mention he was prepared and on time to the session, he was on top of the subject and even pulled different sources to help me understand his reasoning! he was the best :)

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This tutor not only knows his stuff but also is patient with me and takes the time to deliver the content in a concise fashion whereby I am able to solve questions on my own and achieve a 100%!
