Personal Statement

I have established myself as an academic educator teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students. I had obtained a bachelor honors degree in Biomedical Sciences from the United Kingdom and a PhD in Biomedical Sciences in the field of Molecular Biology, Genetics and Cancer Biology from the United Kingdom. I had taught medical, Allied Health and scientific undergraduates enrolled in different colleges and departments at different universities studying for a B.Sc. degree in different programs for Biomedical Sciences, Microbiology, Nutrition, Pharmacy, Medical Sciences, Biotechnology, Forensic Science, Nursing and General Biology. I had taught Molecular and Medical Genetics for several 14 years. I had also taught Molecular Human Genetics, Classical Genetics. Furthermore, I had successfully supervised 18 undergraduate final year research projects related to molecular genetics predisposition and association of oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes in oncological diseases; solid tumors (breast, colon, rectal cancer) liquid tumors (leukemia, lymphoma). During supervision, I taught students scientific approaches to design research projects, write a short research proposal, perform experimental procedures, analyze the results, present the data, perform statistical tests, prepare dissertations, oral presentations and edit posters.
