I hold a Master's degree in Philosophy from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of California, Davis (UC Davis). I have also taught at the University of California, the Federal University of Bahia, the Federal University of Santa Maria, and the Federal University of Pernambuco.
