Brett is very good tutor and has a unique way of teaching then when I was first taught Koine Greek. He likes to work on speaking and communicating in the language witch gets me to think more in the Koine Greek language then I have ever done before. It is helping me visualize the language more. He is very knowledgeable in not Only Koine Greek, but in Hebrew as well. I have just started to speak to him about teaching me Hebrew. I would recommend if you want to learn Koine Greek or just get some extra help as I am, Brett is the man for the job!

Greek grammar and syntax, going through diclensions and sentence structure. Also the syntax and grammatical structure of verse 1 on the 9th chapter8. He also go over the participles and the use of them.

Brett has been teaching me Koine Greek. He has various methods of teaching that include guiding me in the textbook I already have, speaking/pronouncing Greek, and learning to write my own. Brett has learned some excellent models of teaching and uses it in his tutoring sessions. He is patient when I forget (which is often) and yet holds me accountable to striving for learning a difficult language. Easily recommendable, and I've been his student for over six months!

He?s walking through a new programming language called MIPS, that I have no experience in. He?s walking me through my first assignment with ease, as he explains the syntax to me. Definitely a great tutor. Will continue to go to him for my class.

Brett's enthusiasm is a contagious catalyst. From day one he immerses you in the language. Using the techniques he learned at Polis Institute in Jerusalem as you are taught to greet ?? ????? = ma shalomKha meaning how is your peace with a reply: ????? ??? = my shalom (peace) is good, and say goodbye ???? shalom! His method of teaching is more organic and less of a stoic structure of axioms and paradigms. If you like (as I do) going off road and exploring the Bible, Hebrew traditions and culture he is more than just informed, he is engaging. Brett truly loves teaching Hebrew but even more important he want to make sure you enjoy the lessons in a stress free and productive state. I personally love the feeling of achievement and confidence at the end of each session. I can not recommend him highly enough to anyone who has a desire to study Biblical Hebrew.

Brett takes the time to walk through concepts and debugging with you. I was doing very well in my class until we hit pushing procedures onto the stack. I hit a wall in my understanding until tutoring here. He makes sure you take away a good understanding of the material. Completely recommend!

I had been working on learning Koine Greek on my own for a few months but felt overwhelmed, frustrated, and unfocused. Brett is helping me to move through learning Koine in a logical, orderly sequence and guiding me through focusing on a bit at a time so that it's not so overwhelming. I have a tendency to get off track with random questions, but he keeps the lesson moving back on course. Having Brett's support on this language journey is making it feel totally possible to reach my goal of being fluent in Koine (and then Hebrew) so that I can read the Bible for myself. I spoke with several tutors before choosing to work with Brett. I feel like I made the right choice because he is fluent in Koine specifically. He's also friendly, encouraging, and easy to talk with so I feel free to ask any question and he also reminds me of realistic goals. The other good thing is he also knows Hebrew, which is the next step after I master Greek.

Brett helped me with debugging my mips code. He went through the problem and helped me realize what i missed. He also helped me to understand the stack and the importance of storing the return register of a function.

My sessions with Brett left me with absolutely no complaints, only praises. I had a project with some very obscure concepts that I spent over 10-15 hours trying to figure out on my own. Brett was the first place I looked for help, and he was able to help solve all of my issues with the project in less than two hours when I thought it would take at least 3-5 sessions initially.
