Personal Statement

I was captivated by computers at an early age, joined the military to train as a computer operator, and eventually found my way into computer programming. Although COBOL was not my first programming language, it is by far my favorite language, mainly because it encourages a structured manner of thinking and coding. I have mastered many specialized techniques in COBOL, and authored teaching documents to pass my knowledge on to my programming peers.
