It took my son, seconds to decide he wanted Alex as his trombone tutor. He?s very patient and makes lessons fun. During the pandemic, my son was frustrated with zoom band classes. He was very discouraged and did not pick up the trombone, outside of class time. Alex showed him techniques and approaches that would make him a better player. He now practices more often and is more confident with his skills.

Alex is an awesome tutor I haven't played trumpet in 10 years and wanted to start again. We started with the basics and Alex was very thorough and patient with beginners (aka me). With only 3 lessons down I have learned most of the basic notes and have been able to make a clear and strong sound with the tips he has given me. If you are a beginner looking for a tutor I definitely recommend Alex hands down no doubt about it.
