Born and raised in inner-city north Minneapolis, Alex?s first memories of music involved a room full of Legos, alternative rock radio, and hip hop and neo-soul grooves floating from open windows.

Alex started playing the guitar at age 11. And he later attended McNally Smith, where he became an exchange student who studied music in Germany.
