It is not the kid. It is how we teach (or cant teach Math) For me, it is always hard when I hear that ?mathematics is too hard? Some students don?t see the value in it. They don?t see any practical purpose in what they are learning. Part of it is how the curriculum is taught; some of it has do with understanding this generation?s student culture.
