Does not read assignments before grading. He will grade based on how much he likes you. Flawed teaching style, be prepared to teach yourself almost entirely. He gives one syllabus that judges every assignment in class but he will mark off points for benign reasons. Take only if absolutely necessary. Do not talk at all in his class, even to answer questions or he will form an opinion of you. |

Really great guy, but a terribly narcissistic professor. Every positive review I’ve read makes me want to vomit Bc he makes it clear that he expects a high rating in return for a good grade. His class is run on a single online syllabus that is nearly impossible to read and riddled with spelling and grammatical errors. He wanted the class to teach itself thru PowerPoints and went off on tangents about what we were supposed to learn from them during class, often missing the mark. Not sure how he still has a job honestly, his grading curriculum is very very arbitrary. The amount of work this class required should be minimal although he makes it as difficult as possible, mainly to inflate his ego. Often wore old pea coats every single day and he’s a New Yorker moved to Georgia..explains more than anything else I could say. |
