She does not allow use of course materials even when assignment directly asks information included in textbook. Essentially you must find information you already have elsewhere. She does not teach, online course is essentially self taught. You do not learn until after you lose points. She is patronizing, condescending, and unprofessional.
The expectations were unrealistic for this course. It was too much Material for one course. Very difficult to review at the level of depth that was required.
The major issue I'm having with this course is a lack of clarity, as well as the professor's refusal to assist students in resubmitting assignments if they utterly misunderstand them. The rubric and her expectations are out of sync. This class was challenging since the lecturer did not properly communicate what was required at the start of the course and penalized students for not knowing better. I would encourage you not to take Dr. Polk's course.
Felt that this professor was angry and dismissive when students were struggling. Not helpful or encouraging.
