Great guy. Class consists of participation and writing around 4 realistic fiction essays between 250-1000 words. He presents information that directly correlates with the essay topics. Use the tools he gives in class and go to the unrequired class days for help.

Cons: Extremely opinionated. Docks points from those who disagree with him.
Do not expect an actual literature class. This is a philosophy class disguised as a literature class.

He's hard, but knows what he's talking about. Don't let him scare you out of his class because of difficulty. He'll give you enough extra credit opportunities at the end that you should pass with an A.
