 Very rude and doesn’t show any respect for her students. At the beginning of class she will ask if we have any questions about the content we learned but as soon as someone asks a question she will respond as if they just asked the dumbest question in the history of questions. Ex. A girl asked what to do because her phone wasn’t working to take attendance and she basically says that sounds like a personal problem, grow up and figure it out yourself. Doesn’t make class enjoyable

 I sure wish I had read reviews about Pierce before taking this class, to have been prepared for the onslaught of sarcasm, infantilizing treatment, and utter distaste. She exhibits zero concern for students, she's rude, she deliberately withholds information and she doesn't teach. This was an on-line class, so teacher input can be even more important than usual. I have taken over 8 classes in this department, all online, and have never encountered anyone with an attitude like this. I truly resent paying almost $2000 to be treated like garbage and undermined in an academic setting. If I were to ever behave this way toward my students, I could not live with myself.
