 If you get a question wrong he will not help you understand it. No amount of emailing him and asking him to teach will get him to teach you, he's going to just point you to the textbook because he doesn't know how to explain the things himself

 Pros: nice guy

still makes it challenging for you
writes small and a bit fast - sit up front
you have to pay attention in his class and sit up front and write notes and pay attention, do all your homework and stay on course like that, if you can do that, its smooth sailing, otherwise its very difficult.
