 I took ten French classes with Prof. Yoken, and can honestly say that he was the best professor I ever had--or ever hope to have. I wish him well in his retirement, as he deserves this.

 I saw Prof. Yoken last week, and realized I have never rated him. He's simply the best professor I had at UMD, and my sister, who also had him in many French classes, concurs with me. That's why we both became French teachers, and why we've kept in contact with him over the years for his guidance and advice.
