 Dean Maarten is a very bright person; unfortunately, he seems to use his talents as Dean to promote the Departments and people he favors--like his own History Department, At the same time, he has this unnecessary and very bad habit of talking constantly behind his faculty backs, creating an atmosphere of division and mistrust. Because of this, his time as Dean--ten years or more--has ben too long. Apparently, he is a great teacher--so he should be returned to the classroom where his talents can be of the greatest use and value.
