 DG was one of my best professors she had clear directions and used a lot of rubrics. There were a lot of readings but she had a guiding question for everything that helped me focus on what to look fo. She went over things in class but not every word in the textbook because she wanted to bring in other perspectives. This was the first class that I had in college (at App or UNCC) where a professor talked about respect for other people and she helped me to see how communication can change lives. She’s tough but helpful. Reach out if you have questions and she’ll b there. She expects people to read carefully and to come prepared.

 DG helped me throughout my college career. I had her for a freshman class and knew then I wanted to go into communications. I opted for Journalism, but I had her for another class right before I graduated, and she was so nice. You won’t meet anyone more passionate about how com makes a difference in the world for sure. I would recommend doing the work and asking if you have any questions.
